Citroen in WI.
EDIT* Who can guess what it is from the back? It's actually a pretty interesting car.

That's an SM – Citroën's take on a GT car, complete with Maserati V6 engine. Gorgeous, but a terrifying maintenance headache.

I saw a 2CV once near where I work. It was getting onto the freeway. LOLZ.

Haha yeah, it was an SM. Very interesting looking car. Also, yeah I'd hate to maintain that lol.

Taking a 2CV on a freeway sounds scary to me. NOPE.

The hydraulic system is actually very straightforward and trouble-free, so long as you use the right fluid and exercise it regularly. It's that engine that's the nightmare. They have a tendency to munch exhaust valves and do all sorts of other nasty things unless maintained religiously.

It's how I got carted around most of Europe when I was a nipper- it's not a problem. Just don't count on doing a lot of overtaking.

Lol. I guess it's ok, how fast are Euro expressways generally?

That is about what I would expect lol.

yikes. A guy at my work has a 4 door Maserati, forget which though, from the 70's I think it was. I bet he has similar issues.

It is a really very interesting car when you look at it. I wouldn't mind one myself, despite maintenance.

Thats why you get a "man" (we'll call him Maarten) to take care of it. As in,
"Kailand, wheres the SM?"
"Oh, Maarten is pulling it 'round soon as he learns Italian darling. Perhaps we'll take the Flaminia instead. JEEVES! GET THE FLAMINIA THIS INSTANT!"

Generally 120 km/h (74 mph), which is also just about VMAX for a 1970-1990 2cv6. With a following wind, down a hill, and if your tin snail's in a good mood.
My parents hauled us + a ton of camping gear through half of Germany, and speeds on the Autobahn are, of course, whatever you fancy...

74mph is faster than here. Holy cow, a 2CV next to autobahn vehicles sounds scarier lol.
